The EPTC-15 self-regulating heating cable with built-in thermostat provides reliable freeze protection for pipes, gutters, and roofs at 15W per meter. The built-in thermostat automatically activates the cable below +3°C and deactivates it above +13°C, ensuring effective frost protection without manual intervention.
Made from high-quality materials with IP68 waterproof rating, the cable ensures durability and safety in all weather conditions. It is 100% shielded at zero EMF, 100% tested before delivery, maintenance-free, and anti-UV resistant.
The cable comes as a plug-and-play solution — ready to use with a standard power plug. It is suitable for both plastic and metal pipes, certified for temperatures up to +90°C. Each cable includes a 2-meter power cable with plug in addition to the heating cable length.
Installation is straightforward: unroll the cable, attach the thermostat to the coldest part of the pipe using insulating tape, fix the cable along the pipe securing with tape every 30-60cm, insulate the entire protected section with thermal insulation, and connect the plug to a socket.
Applications include freeze protection for pipes, gutters, valves, meters, and wells; protection of roof edge lines against snow and ice; and maintaining fluid temperature in tanks and pipes to prevent solidification.
For gutter installation, use specialist clips to prevent direct cable-water contact.
