Heating Foil 80W
Infrared heating foil — 80W/m², PTC self-regulating, 50cm width, for laminate & vinyl floors
Or expand the options above to build a complete kit
The 80W infrared heating foil is a thin, flexible material containing carbon, silver, and copper heating elements. When connected to electricity, the foil generates infrared radiation which — similar to natural sunlight — heats objects directly, not air. This means temperature is felt faster with no heat losses typical of traditional radiators.
Featuring PTC self-regulating technology, the foil automatically adjusts its power consumption as temperature rises — electrical resistance increases, reducing energy use. This self-regulation saves up to 27% electrical energy compared to non-PTC systems.
Key advantages include simple installation without complicated renovation work, low investment cost compared to traditional water underfloor heating, instant heating with no waiting for water to heat up, eco-friendly operation with no dust or pollutants, and space-saving invisible installation with only the thermostat visible on the wall.
The foil is designed for direct installation under floating floors including laminate panels, vinyl panels, engineered wood, and SPC vinyl panels. It can also be installed on ceilings, walls, and behind mirrors for anti-fog applications.
Installation layers (top to bottom): floor covering (laminate panels), protective underlay, heating foil, underlay with reflective screen, concrete screed. Recommended to cover approximately 80% of room floor area with a minimum 10cm distance from walls.
Important: Cannot combine foils of different powers in the same room. Do not install under furniture without legs ≥4cm high.
